Control and "Letting Go"

In the types of high-stakes jobs that we have, we get positive results and positive feedback from our ability to control lots of different things. This is a skill that suits us well when we are at work. However, bringing that same kind of control into our homes and into our relationships can be poisonous. Learning to let go is going to be important for our post-traumatic growth and resiliency.
